Defender reinforced drive shafts for all off-road use. Large angle, double-cruise. The best all-purpose choice for any lift kit. Defender reinforced driveshafts are divided into 3 categories: reinforced wide angle, reinforced double-cruise S-series and reinforced double-cruise extra slim series. They are all equipped with 10 cm. slide as opposed to 3 cm. of the standard shaft. Wide angle side over 30 degrees, double-cruise side over 40 degrees, against 18-19 degrees of the standard mast. The choice is related to the type of offroad you do. A grand angle shaft is the best choice in extreme offroad; it does not guarantee total elimination of vibrations, but it has an off-the-shelf strength due to the absence of delicate parts. The increased “homokineticity” of the double-cruise ensures the elimination of vibrations related to the height of the vehicle, and is essential for very tall setups, from 10 cm. and up. The extra slim model is lighter, so it does not accentuate vibrations due to other vehicle problems, and is suitable for road use with raised setups.
